This hotel was one of the most amazing places I have ever stayed at. The first thing I loved about it was the comfortable and clean rooms which made me feel right at home. the breakfast was amazing, offering a range of options that I could choose from. The hotel was also in a great location as it was close to the city center and all the attractions that I wanted to check out.
There were a few negative aspects that I noticed. Unfortunately, there was no restaurant or bar in the hotel which was a little inconvenient after a long day of exploring.

The hotel was a lovely, not too big, family-runned hotel with a calm and friendly atmosphere. I travelled with my dog, and the hotel manager really made an effort beyond what one could expect to make our stay the best possible, for both me and my dog. And it was! If you want to live someplace nice and quiet, but at the same time not too far from a city, I really recommend Hotel Fjalar.
The weather was very warm during our stay, and even though the hotel manager gave us a fan, it would have been better with air-condition.

I had high expectations about the hotel based on the guest reviews but the hotel met my expectations if not even exceeded them.
It was warm but not very hot when I stayed in the hotel so the lack of air conditioning was not that bad.

The hotel was well-maintained and had a friendly staff. the breakfast buffet had a good variety of options including fresh fruit and cold meats. the lounge area was comfortable and a good place to relax.
The lack of a restaurant at the hotel was a downside, and the surrounding area didn't offer many dining options either. the hotel was located a bit far from the city center, making it difficult to access shops and markets.

The hotel was rather diffecult to find, we spend nearly an hour asking people here and there. But finally we got there and was charmed by the hotel, the staff, the calmness and the silence. We only had our breakfest at the hotel, it was very good. Wish to come back:)

We had a great stay at this hotel! Best aspects were the clean and cozy room, friendly staff, and delicious breakfast buffet. Parking and free wifi were also convenient. It's located in a quiet residential area away from the busy town center.

It would have been more convenient if the hotel had a restaurant on-site, especially who would prefer not to venture out for meals.
